     From 11 June 1851, her married name became Macfie.¹

     Margaret Catherine Biggar was born on 6 December 1823 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Walter Biggar and Anne Duff.² She married Reverend William Garden Blaikie, son of James Ogilvie Blaikie and Jane Garden, on 20 May 1845 at Pilrig, Scotland^G.¹ She died on 25 July 1915 at age 91.¹
