Pamela Gladys Berthe Peto was born on 26 February 1910.1 She was the daughter of Sir Geoffrey Kelsall Peto and Pauline Quirin.2 She married, firstly, Thomas John Henry Vincent Lane, son of John Henry Hervey Vincent Lane and Hon. Grace Louisa Edwardes, on 1 November 1932.1 She married, secondly, Colonel William Scurfield Swire Sanguinetti, son of Major William Roger Sanguinetti, on 27 November 1942.1 She died on 16 January 1982 at age 71.1
