     Mary Janet Croft Murray was born on 9 June 1915.¹ She was the daughter of Captain William Raymond Croft Murray and Mary Agneta Francis Boyle.² She married Alwyne Douglas Home, son of Reverend J. D. Home, on 9 January 1946.¹ She died on 21 May 2012 at age 96 at Eshowe, South Africa.³
     From 9 January 1946, her married name became Home.
