Sir George Lockwood Morris, 8th Bt. was born on 29 January 1859.1 He was the son of George Byng Morris and Emily Matilda Smith.2 He married Wilhelmina Elizabeth Cory, daughter of Thomas Cory, in 1889.1 He died on 23 November 1947 at age 88.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Monmouthshire Engineers Militia.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Morris, of Clasemont, co. Glamorgan [U.K., 1806] on 15 August 1947.1
