Sir Roger Moon, 6th Bt. was born on 17 November 1914.1 He was the son of Jasper Moon and Isabel Logan.2 He married Meg Maxwell, daughter of Arthur Mainwaring Maxwell and Marion Bridges, on 16 December 1950.1 He died on 16 October 2017 at age 102.3
He was educated at Sedbergh School, Sedbergh, Cumbria, England.1 He was a coffee planter between 1933 and 1935 at Kenya.1 He was a rubber planter between 1939 and 1941 at Malaysia.1 In 1942 he served with Johore Volunteer Engineers in Malaya and Singapore.1 He was a Japanese POW between 1942 and 1945.1 He was a rubber planter between 1946 and 1963 at Malaysia.1 He was an oil palm planter between 1963 and 1967 at Malaysia.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Moon, of Copsewood Stoke, co. Warwick [U.K., 1887] on 14 September 1988.2 He lived in 2003 at The Barn House, Wykey, Ruyton XI Towns, Shropshire, EnglandG.1
