Aubrey Richard Spring Rice was born on 15 August 1822.1 He was the son of Thomas Spring Rice, 1st Baron Monteagle of Brandon and Lady Theodosia Pery.2 He married Anne Maria Jane John-Mildmay, daughter of Paulet St. John-Mildmay and Anna Maria Wyndham Bouverie, on 15 June 1852.1 He died on 29 November 1897 at age 75, without issue.1
