Isobella Macdonell is the daughter of Alastair Macdonell, 11th of Glengarry and Lady Mary Mackenzie.2 She married Roderick Chisholm, The Chisholm, son of John Chisholm, The Chisholm and Jean Mackenzie, in 1713.1

Alastair Macdonell, 13th of Glengarry was the son of John Macdonell, 12th of Glengarry and Margaret Mackenzie.2 He died on 23 December 1761, unmarried.1
He was was selected by the Highland chiefs to carry an address to Bonnie Prince Charlie, signed with their blood.1 On 25 October 1745 he was captured in a French transport , and confined to the Tower for 22 months.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Macdonell [Scotland, 1716] on 1 September 1754, Jacobite.1

Aeneas Macdonell was the son of John Macdonell, 12th of Glengarry and Margaret Mackenzie.2 He married Mary Robertson, daughter of Alexander Robertson.1 He died on 22 January 1746, accidentally shot after the Battle of Falkirk.1
