     Charles Markham was born on 28 December 1778.¹ He was the son of John Markham and Hannah Wagstaffe.² He married Eliza Mary Packharness, daughter of John Packharness, on 23 September 1811.¹ He died on 20 October 1846 at age 67.¹
     He was Clerk of Lieutenantcy and Clerk of Peace for Northamptonshire between 1823 and 1846.¹ He held the office of Master Extraordinary in Chancery.¹

     John Packharness lived at St. Ann's, Jamaica.¹

     Eliza Mary Packharness was the daughter of John Packharness.² She married Charles Markham, son of John Markham and Hannah Wagstaffe, on 23 September 1811.¹ She died on 17 December 1858.¹

     Arthur Bayley Markham was born on 11 May 1815.¹ He was the son of Charles Markham and Eliza Mary Packharness.² He married Ann Smith, daughter of John William Smith, on 28 August 1838.¹ He died on 20 December 1873 at age 58.¹

     From 6 December 1855, her married name became Markham.
