     Hon. Alastair Joseph Watson was born on 20 August 1901.¹ He was the son of Joseph Watson, 1st Baron Manton and Frances Claire Nickols.² He married Joan Cobbold, daughter of Philip Wyndham Cobbold and Cicely Augusta Nevill, on 13 July 1925.¹ He died on 13 December 1955 at age 54.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Suffolk Regiment.¹ He was Quartering Commandant of Hertfordshire between 1940 and 1946.¹

     Jane Hoare was born on 24 February 1702 at Stourton, Wiltshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Hoare and Jane Benson.¹ She married Henry Cornelisen on 7 January 1719.¹ She died on 25 December 1762 at age 60 at Stourhead, Stourton, Wiltshire, England.¹
     From 7 January 1719, her married name became Cornelisen.¹

     Henry Cornelisen married Jane Hoare, daughter of Henry Hoare and Jane Benson, on 7 January 1719.¹

     Martha Cornelisen was born in 1720 at Braisted Lodge, Essex, England.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Cornelisen and Jane Hoare.¹ She married William Hoare, son of Richard Hoare. She died on 25 September 1777.¹ She was buried at St. Dunstan, London, England.¹
     Her married name became Hoare.
