     John Thomas Manners-Sutton, 2nd Baron Manners of Foston was born on 17 August 1818.¹ He was the son of Thomas Manners-Sutton, 1st Baron Manners of Foston and Jane Butler.² He married Lydia Sophia Dashwood, daughter of Vice-Admiral William Bateman Dashwood and Louisa Henrietta Bode, on 28 September 1848.¹ He died on 14 November 1864 at age 46.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Manners of Foston, co. Lincoln [U.K., 1807] on 31 May 1842.¹

     Vice-Admiral William Bateman Dashwood was born on 1 September 1790 at St. Neots, Huntingdonshire, England. He was the son of Francis Bateman Dashwood and Theresa Elizabeth March. He married Louisa Henrietta Bode on 17 April 1820 at St. Johns Church, Hackney, London, England.

     Lydia Sophia Dashwood was baptised on 2 December 1824 at Compton Beauchamp, Berkshire, England.² She was the daughter of Vice-Admiral William Bateman Dashwood and Louisa Henrietta Bode.³ She married John Thomas Manners-Sutton, 2nd Baron Manners of Foston, son of Thomas Manners-Sutton, 1st Baron Manners of Foston and Jane Butler, on 28 September 1848.¹ She died on 1 February 1916 at age 91.¹
     From 28 September 1848, her married name became Manners-Sutton. After her marriage, Lydia Sophia Dashwood was styled as Baroness Manners of Foston on 28 September 1848.

     Sybil Serpell was born in 1905.¹ She was the daughter of Henry William Serpell and Florence Ada Beesby.¹ She married James Wylie Armour in 1932 at Chertsey, Surrey, England.¹ She died in 1982.¹
     From 1932, her married name became Armour.¹
