Sir John Malcolm of Balbedie and Grange, 5th Bt. was born in 1749.1 He was the son of Michael Malcolm of Baldebie and Anne Blackwood.2 He married Jean Hutton.1 He died on 23 May 1816.
He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Malcolm, of Balbedie and Innertiel in the County of Fife [N.S., 1665] on 25 October 1805.1

Sir Michael Malcolm of Balbedie and Grange, 6th Bt. was the son of Sir John Malcolm of Balbedie and Grange, 5th Bt. and Jean Hutton.2 He married, firstly, Isabella Davie, daughter of Thomas Davie of Kirkaldie, on 18 December 1809.1 He married, secondly, Mary Forbes, daughter of John Forbes, in June 1824.1 He died in October 1828.1
