Emma Blake was the daughter of Charles Blake.2 She married Allan Macpherson, 3rd of Blairgowrie, son of William Macpherson, 2nd of Blairgowrie and Janet Chalmers, on 30 April 1853.1 She died on 5 November 1915.1

William Charles Macpherson, 4th of Blairgowrie was born on 11 August 1855.1 He was the son of Allan Macpherson, 3rd of Blairgowrie and Emma Blake.2 He married Isabella Mary Kinloch, daughter of Colonel David James Kinloch and Katherine Mary Young, on 16 October 1886.1 He died on 6 July 1936 at age 80.1
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He was with the Indian Civil Service.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was member of the Bengal Legislative Council between 1902 and 1911.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1903.1 He was member of the Board of Revenue of Calcutta between 1906 and 1911.1

Brigadier Alan David Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson and 5th of Blairgowrie, 26th Chief was born on 6 September 1887.1 He was the son of William Charles Macpherson, 4th of Blairgowrie and Isabella Mary Kinloch.2 He married Catharine Richardson Hill, daughter of Robert Hunter Hill, on 9 September 1922.1 He died on 18 June 1969 at age 81.1
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.1 He was commissioned in 1908, in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 28 December 1966.1
