Charles Melville Macnaghten was born on 18 November 1879.1 He was the son of Sir Melville Leslie MacNaghten and Dora Emily Sanderson.2 He married Nina Hopcroft, daughter of Dr. unknown Hopcroft, on 30 December 1904.1 He died in February 1931 at age 51.1
