     Donald George Cecil Macnabb was born on 16 October 1905.¹ He was the son of Donald John Campbell Macnabb and Winifred Mary Moncrieff Pember.² He married Daphne Bluett Whinney, daughter of Frank Toller Whinney and Laura Bluett Winch, on 4 December 1943.¹ He died on 11 January 1991 at age 85.¹

     He lived at West Humble, Dorking, Surrey, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of officer in the Royal West Surrey Regiment.²

     Florence Jean Mary Macnabb was born on 8 December 1861.¹ She was the daughter of James William MacNabb and Amy Hogg.² She married Colonel James Henry Erskine Reid, son of Maj.-Gen. James Reid, on 19 October 1883.¹ She died on 7 January 1915 at age 53.¹
     From 19 October 1883, her married name became Reid.
