     James Macnab was born on 22 March 1759.¹ He was the son of James Macnab and Anne Cowan.² He was baptised on 28 March 1759 at Moulin, Perthshire, Scotland.³ He married Mary McLaren, daughter of Alexander McLaren, on 20 October 1789.¹ He died on 2 August 1822 at age 63.¹
     In 1798 he was served heir as eldest lawful son to his father.¹ He gained the rank of Surgeon between 1798 and 1814 in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹ He was Civil Surgeon of Patna before 1816.¹ He purchased West Haugh in 1817.¹ He lived in 1818 at Arthurstone, Perthshire, Scotland, which he purchased.¹

     Alexander McLaren lived at East Haugh, Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland.¹

     Mary McLaren was the daughter of Alexander McLaren.² She married James Macnab, son of James Macnab and Anne Cowan, on 20 October 1789.¹ She died on 27 August 1847.¹
     From 20 October 1789, her married name became Macnab.

     Conie Robertson Wright was born in 1908 at Finchley, London, England^G.¹ He is the son of Frederick Adam Wright and Ada Dee.¹

     Reverend Dr. Donald Campbell was born circa 1759.² He was the son of John Campbell and Margaret Macleod.² He married Mary MacLeod, daughter of John MacLeod, 11th of Raasay and Jane Macqueen. He died on 17 January 1843.²

     Jane Mary Campbell was the daughter of Reverend Dr. Donald Campbell and Mary MacLeod.² She married James Munro Macnab, son of James Macnab and Mary McLaren, on 11 April 1820.¹ She died on 9 August 1886.¹
     From 11 April 1820, her married name became Macnab.

     Rawdon Hastings Macnab was born on 7 October 1824.¹ He was the son of James Munro Macnab and Jane Mary Campbell.² He died in September 1825.¹

     Sir Nele Loring was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.)¹

     Sir Donald Campbell Macnab was born on 5 January 1834.¹ He was the son of James Munro Macnab and Jane Mary Campbell.² He died on 30 January 1913 at age 79, unmarried.¹
     In 1853 served in the Honourable East India Company Service and in the Indian Civil Service.¹ He was Commissioner of Rawalpindi, Lahore and Peshawar.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1881.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.) in 1887.¹

     John Campbell Erskine Macnab was born on 5 June 1838.¹ He was the son of James Munro Macnab and Jane Mary Campbell.² He died on 10 May 1857 at age 18 at Meerut, India, murdered.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹
