     Katharine Christie MacLeod was born on 6 April 1921.1 She was the daughter of Torquil Bright MacLeod, 16th of Raasay and Helen Christie Nicholas.2 She married Major Charles John Chichester Beckett, son of Maj.-Gen. Clifford Thomason Beckett, on 7 December 1949.1 She died on 2 May 2002 at age 81 at Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.3
     She was in AWAS (Royal Signals) during the Second World War.1 From 7 December 1949, her married name became Beckett. She lived at 97 Woodland Avenue, Guildford, Surrey, EnglandG.1

     Roderick John MacLeod, 18th of Raasay was born on 29 July 1950.1 He is the son of Torquil Roderick MacLeod, 17th of Raasay and Patricia Mary Lyttleton Turner.2 He married Elizabeth Grace Downie, daughter of Kenneth Thorpe Downie, on 12 August 1978.1
     He was educated at The Friends School, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.1 He was an industrial chemist with Risdon Zinc Works between 1969 and 1989.1 He graduated from Tasmanian College of Advanced Education, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)1 He was Councillor of the Brighton Municipal Council between 1986 and 1987. He was Director of the Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania between 1986 and 1994.1 He was a manager with rural supplies company, Roberts Ltd between 1989 and 2008. He was Director of the Royal National Agricultural and Pastoral Society between 1993 and 1995.1 On 7 August 2000 he succeeded his father by the latter's resignation and nomination under the seal of the Lord Lyon.1 He lived in 2008 at 2 Beechworth Road, Sandy Bay, Tasmania, Australia.
