     Lt.-Cdr. Southwell George Theobald Bourke was born on 28 July 1851.¹ He was the son of Richard Bourke and Gertrude Borrowes.¹ He married Catherine Jane Cameron, daughter of William Cameron, on 27 July 1881.¹ He died on 8 November 1919 at age 68.¹
