Sir Richard Ernest Butler Lloyd, 2nd Bt. was born on 6 December 1928.1 He was the son of Major Sir Ernest Guy Richard Lloyd, 1st Bt. and Helen Kynaston Greg.2 He married Jennifer Susan Margaret Cardiff, daughter of Brigadier Ereld Boteler Wingfield Cardiff, on 6 June 1955.1 He died on 13 August 2022 at age 93.3
