     Charles Gilfrid Lewthwaite was born on 15 April 1884.1 He was the son of Sir William Lewthwaite, 1st Bt. and Helena Jane Challinor.2 He died on 29 July 1917 at age 33, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd North Midland Brigade, Royal Field Artillery.1

Violet Mary Lewthwaite1

     Violet Mary Lewthwaite is the daughter of Sir William Lewthwaite, 1st Bt. and Helena Jane Challinor.2 She married Robert Edward Morris-Eyton, son of Charles Edward Morris-Eyton and Isabel Margaret Hay Eyton, on 16 June 1920.1
     From 16 June 1920, her married name became Morris-Eyton. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire in 1943.1

     Robert Edward Morris-Eyton was the son of Charles Edward Morris-Eyton and Isabel Margaret Hay Eyton.2 He married Violet Mary Lewthwaite, daughter of Sir William Lewthwaite, 1st Bt. and Helena Jane Challinor, on 16 June 1920.1 He died on 24 January 1936.
     He lived at Calvington, Shropshire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     Sir William Anthony Lewthwaite, 3rd Bt. was born on 26 February 1912.1 He was the son of Sir William Lewthwaite, 2nd Bt. and Beryl Mary Stopford Hickman.2 He married Lois Mairi Kerr-Clark, daughter of Captain Struan Robertson Kerr-Clark and Lady Beatrice Minnie Ponsonby Moore, on 9 July 1936.1 He died on 25 December 1993 at age 81.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1933 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Lewthwaite, of Broadgate, Parish of Thwaites, co. Cumberland [U.K., 1927] on 13 June 1933.1 He was a practising solicitor in 1937.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Signals.1 He was partner of Tatham and Burgis between 1959 and 1966.1
