Alfonso de Portago, Marqués de Portago was born on 11 October 1928.1 He was the son of Antonio de Portago, Marqués de Portago and Olga Beatrice Leighton.2 He married, firstly, Carroll McDaniel in 1949.1 He married, secondly, Dorian Elizabeth Leigh Parker in 1954 at Mexico in a bigamous marriage.3 He died on 12 May 1957 at age 28 at Cavriana, Italy, killed racing in the Mille Miglia.1,3
