     Lt.-Col. Peter George Francis Mowbray Roupell was the son of Brigadier George Roland Patrick Roupell, V.C.² He married, firstly, Moira J. Curties.³ He married, secondly, Caroline Anne Stevenson-Hamilton, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Stevenson-Hamilton, 16th of Fairholm and Kirkton and Hilda Cholmondeley, on 16 December 1996.¹ He died on 29 May 2006.³
