     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Kinloch, of Kinloch [U.K., 1873] on 20 March 1910.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)²

     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Black Watch.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of officer in 1939 in the Royal Artillery.¹
