Sir Alexander William King, 6th Bt. was born on 25 November 1892.1 He was the son of Robert Ebenezer King and Margaret Dempster.2 He married Dorothy Alice Champion, daughter of Henry William Champion, on 30 November 1924.1 He died on 7 April 1969 at age 76.1
He was educated at Herne Bay College, Herne Bay, Auckland, New Zealand.1 He was educated at Borden Grammar School, Sittingbourne, Kent, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet King, of Charlestown, co. Roscommon [U.K., 1815] on 15 August 1954.1
