     Susan Letitia Burnett, 9th of Kemnay was born on 16 October 1922.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Moubray Burnett, 8th of Kemnay and Muriel Speed.² She married Fredrick James Milton, son of Edwin Barnes Milton, on 16 August 1946.¹
     She was in the Women's Royal Naval Service during the Second World War.¹ From 16 August 1946, her married name became Milton. She was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated her arms at the Lyons Court on 12 September 1978.¹ She wrote the book Without Fanfare, published 1994.¹ She lived in 2003 at Kemnay House, Kemnay, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Timothy Jan Frederick Milton was born on 16 February 1946.¹ He was the son of Fredrick James Milton and Susan Letitia Burnett, 9th of Kemnay.² He died on 21 October 1948 at age 2.¹
