     Elizabeth Gordon is the daughter of Francis Gordon of Craig.2 She married Captain Charles Kinnaird Johnstone-Gordon, son of James Raymond Johnstone of Alva and Mary Elizabeth Cholmeley, in May 1838.1
     From May 1838, her married name became Johnstone. From 1857, her married name became Johnstone-Gordon.2

     Commander Henry Wedderburn Johnstone was born on 15 April 1810.1 He was the son of James Raymond Johnstone of Alva and Mary Elizabeth Cholmeley.2 He married Sarah Walter, daughter of John Walter, on 13 November 1857.1 He died on 30 December 1865 at age 55.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1
