     Sydney Armitage Innes was born on 24 April 1879.¹ He was the son of Alexander Innes and Sylvia Christina Armitage Garrett.² He married Constance Edith Blain, daughter of Samuel Blain, on 10 November 1903.¹ He died on 24 March 1960 at age 80.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.¹ He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917 and bar.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Black Watch.¹ He was the Commandant in 1930 at Queen Victoria School, Dunblane, Perthshire, Scotland.¹

     Constance Edith Blain was the daughter of Samuel Blain.² She married Sydney Armitage Innes, son of Alexander Innes and Sylvia Christina Armitage Garrett, on 10 November 1903.¹ She died on 19 April 1957.¹
     From 10 November 1903, her married name became Innes.

     Lt.-Col. Berowald Alfred Innes was born on 22 July 1904.¹ He was the son of Sydney Armitage Innes and Constance Edith Blain.² He married Betty Ida Sandeman, daughter of Alastair Campbell Sandeman, on 24 November 1931.¹ He died on 20 January 1981 at age 76 at Perth Royal Infirmary, Perth, Perthshire, Scotland.^1,3
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, and was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Black Watch.¹

     Alastair Campbell Sandeman lived at Fonab, Pitlochry, Perthshire, Scotland.¹

     Betty Ida Sandeman was the daughter of Alastair Campbell Sandeman.² She married Lt.-Col. Berowald Alfred Innes, son of Sydney Armitage Innes and Constance Edith Blain, on 24 November 1931.¹ She died on 20 February 1997.¹

     Hector Berowald Innes was born on 21 November 1933.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Berowald Alfred Innes and Betty Ida Sandeman.² He died on 2 June 1935 at age 1.¹
