Jean Boyd was the daughter of John Boyd of Carlung.2 She married Robert Hunter, son of George Hunter and Dorothea Boyd, in 1791.1 She died on 24 March 1825.1

Marion Hunter was the daughter of Robert Hunter and Jean Boyd.2 She married John Allen Woodrop of Dalmarnock and Elsrickle on 1 February 1825.1 She died on 13 January 1855.1
Their descendant, Mrs Maimie Denistoun-Mitchell, became the proprietress of Kirkland.1 From 1 February 1825, her married name became Woodrop.
