     William Alexander Elliot was born on 19 November 1851.¹ He was the son of Amyand Powney Charles Elliot and Anna Maria Alexander.¹ He married Louisa Margaret Russell, daughter of Charles Russell, in 1887.¹ He died in 1894.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹

     Charles Amyand Alexander Elliot was born on 13 June 1890.¹ He was the son of William Alexander Elliot and Louisa Margaret Russell.¹ He married, firstly, Doreen Stuart Sulivan, daughter of Admiral George Lydiard Sulivan, on 23 April 1918.¹ He married, secondly, Lillian Jean Harrell, daughter of William Henry Harrell, in 1944.¹ He died on 26 November 1961 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Argyll and Sutherlands Highlanders.¹ He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹

     Doreen Stuart Sulivan was the daughter of Admiral George Lydiard Sulivan.¹ She married Charles Amyand Alexander Elliot, son of William Alexander Elliot and Louisa Margaret Russell, on 23 April 1918.¹ She died in 1941.¹
     Her married name became Elliot.

     Lillian Jean Harrell is the daughter of William Henry Harrell.¹ She married Charles Amyand Alexander Elliot, son of William Alexander Elliot and Louisa Margaret Russell, in 1944.¹
     Her married name became Elliot.

     William Henry Harrell died before 1963.

     Amy Millicent Elliot is the daughter of William Alexander Elliot and Louisa Margaret Russell.¹ She married, firstly, Commander Eric Marsland Groves, son of James Grimble Groves, on 27 July 1907.¹ She and Commander Eric Marsland Groves were divorced in 1915.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Cdr. Paris Graham Singer in 1916.¹ She and Lt.-Cdr. Paris Graham Singer were divorced in 1932.¹ She married, thirdly, William Henry Gill in 1948.¹
     From 27 July 1907, her married name became Groves. From 1916, her married name became Singer. From 1948, her married name became Gill.

     Commander Eric Marsland Groves was the son of James Grimble Groves.¹ He married Amy Millicent Elliot, daughter of William Alexander Elliot and Louisa Margaret Russell, on 27 July 1907.¹ He and Amy Millicent Elliot were divorced in 1915.¹ He died on 28 June 1949, from injuries received on duty.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹
