     Jessie Campbell was born on 28 September 1814 at Dacca, Bengal, India.¹ She was the daughter of Colin Campbell and Mary Anne Howell.¹ She married Colonel Hubert Garbett, son of unknown Garbett, on 23 December 1834 at Kurnaul, Bengal, India.¹
     From 23 December 1834, her married name became Garbett.¹
