Paul Joseph le Moyne was born on 17 September 1701.1 He was the son of Charles le Moyne, 1st Baron de Longueuil and Marie Marguerite le Gardene de Tilly.1 He married Marie Geneviève Joybert de Soulanges, daughter of Captain Pierre Joybert de Soulanges, in 1827.1 He died on 12 May 1778 at age 76.1
