     He succeeded as the 9th Baron de Longueuil, of Longueuil, in the province of Quebec, Canada [Quebec, 1700] on 3 August 1931.1

     Reginald d'Iberville Charles Grant, 8th Baron de Longueuil was born on 24 January 1856.1 He was the son of Charles James Irwin Grant, 6th Baron de Longueil and Anna Mary Catherine Trapman.1 He was baptised on 28 July 1856.2 He married Kate Isobel Constance Church, daughter of John Church, on 17 February 1891.1 He died on 3 August 1931 at age 75, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 8th Baron de Longueuil, of Longueuil, in the province of Quebec, Canada [Quebec, 1700] on 13 December 1898.1

     Charles Colmore Grant, 7th Baron de Longueuil was born on 13 April 1844 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1,2 He was the son of Charles James Irwin Grant, 6th Baron de Longueil and Harriet Colmore.1 He married Mary Wayne, daughter of Thomas Wayne, in 1878.1 He died on 13 December 1898 at age 54 at New York, U.S.A.G, without issue.1,2
     He succeeded as the 7th Baron de Longueuil, of Longueuil, in the province of Quebec, Canada [Quebec, 1700] on 26 February 1879.1 In 1880 he claimed a recognition of his right to the Barony of Longueuil under the terms of the Treaty of Quebec, which was granted on 4 December 1880.1

     Harriet Colmore was the daughter of Frind Cregoe Colmore.1 She married Charles James Irwin Grant, 6th Baron de Longueil, son of Charles William Grant, 5th Baron de Longueuil and Caroline Coffin, in 1842.1 She died on 25 April 1847 at Montreal, Quebec, CanadaG.1,2
     She was also known as Henriette Gregor Colmore.2 From 1842, her married name became Grant.1

     Charles William Grant, 5th Baron de Longueuil was born in 1782.1 He was the son of Captain David Alexander Grant and Marie Charles Joseph le Moyne, Baroness de Longueuil.1 He married Caroline Coffin, daughter of General John Coffin and Ann Mathews, in 1813.1 He died on 5 July 1848.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baron de Longueuil, of Longueuil, in the province of Quebec, Canada [Quebec, 1700] on 17 January 1841.1
