     Josephine Gräfin Haugwitz is the daughter of Charles William Graf Haugwitz.1 She married Rodolphus Taaffe, 7th Viscount Taaffe of Corren, son of Hon. John Philip Taaffe and Maria Gräfin Chotek, on 11 April 1787.1
     After her marriage, Josephine Gräfin Haugwitz was styled as Viscountess Taaffe of Corren on 11 April 1787. From 11 April 1787, her married name became Taaffe.1

     Francis John Charles Joseph Taaffe, 8th Viscount Taaffe of Corren was born on 23 May 1788.1 He was the son of Rodolphus Taaffe, 7th Viscount Taaffe of Corren and Josephine Gräfin Haugwitz.1 He married Antonia Amadée Gräfin de Várkony on 11 April 1811.1 He died on 8 February 1849 at age 60.1
     He gained the title of Graf Taaffe [Holy Roman Empire].1 He gained the rank of Major in the Austrian Army.1 He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Taaffe of Corren, co. Sligo [I., 1628] on 7 June 1830.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baron of Ballymote, co. Sligo [I., 1628] on 7 June 1830.1 He held the office of Chamberlain to the Emperor of Austria.1

     Louis Patrick John Taaffe, 9th Viscount Taaffe of Corren was born on 25 December 1791.1 He was the son of Rodolphus Taaffe, 7th Viscount Taaffe of Corren and Josephine Gräfin Haugwitz.1 He married Amelia Prinzessin Bretzenheim von Regécz, daughter of Karl August Friedrich Joseph Prinz Bretzenheim von Regécz and Maria Walburga von Oettingen-Spielberg, on 10 June 1822.1 He died on 21 December 1855 at age 63.1
     He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Taaffe of Corren, co. Sligo [I., 1628] on 6 February 1849.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baron of Ballymote, co. Sligo [I., 1628] on 6 February 1849.1

     Amelia Prinzessin Bretzenheim von Regécz was born in 1802.2 She was the daughter of Karl August Friedrich Joseph Prinz Bretzenheim von Regécz and Maria Walburga von Oettingen-Spielberg.1,2 She married Louis Patrick John Taaffe, 9th Viscount Taaffe of Corren, son of Rodolphus Taaffe, 7th Viscount Taaffe of Corren and Josephine Gräfin Haugwitz, on 10 June 1822.1 She died in 1874.2
     From 10 June 1822, her married name became Taaffe.1 After her marriage, Amelia Prinzessin Bretzenheim von Regécz was styled as Viscountess Taaffe of Corren on 6 February 1849.

     Karl August Friedrich Joseph Prinz Bretzenheim von Regécz was born illegitimately on 24 December 1768.2 He was the son of Karl Theodore Kurfürst von der Pfalz Herzog von Jülich-Berg, Kurfürt von Bayern and Maria Josepha Seyffert Gräfin von Heydeck.2 He married Maria Walburga von Oettingen-Spielberg, daughter of Anton Ernst Joseph Ignaz Fürst zu Oettingen-Spielberg and Maria Theresia Walpurga Gräfin von Waldburg zu Trauchburg, on 27 April 1788 at Oettingen, Bavaria, Germany.2 He died on 27 February 1823 at age 54.2

     General Charles Rudoph Joseph Francis Taaffe, 10th Viscount Taaffe of Corren was born on 26 April 1823.1 He was the son of Louis Patrick John Taaffe, 9th Viscount Taaffe of Corren and Amelia Prinzessin Bretzenheim von Regécz.1 He died on 19 November 1873 at age 50, unmarried.1
     He gained the title of Graf Taaffe [Holy Roman Empire].1 He succeeded as the 10th Baron of Ballymote, co. Sligo [I., 1628] on 21 December 1855.1 He succeeded as the 10th Viscount Taaffe of Corren, co. Sligo [I., 1628] on 21 December 1855.1 On 17 August 1860 hsi right to his Irish titles was recognised by the Committee of Privileges of the House of Lords.1 He held the office of Chamberlain to the Emperor of Austria.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 12th Lancers, Austrian Army.1
