     Reverend Charles Robert Shaw-Stewart was born on 9 July 1856.² He was the son of Sir Michael Robert Shaw-Stewart of Greenock and Blackhall, 7th Bt. and Lady Octavia Grosvenor.^1,2 He married Ida Fannie Caroline Afken, daughter of H. W. Afken, on 2 January 1890.² He died on 28 February 1932 at age 75.²
