Alan Tindal Lennox-Boyd, 1st Viscount Boyd of Merton was born on 18 November 1904.1 He was the son of Alan Walter Lennox-Boyd and Florence Annie Begbie.2 He married Lady Patricia Florence Susan Guinness, daughter of Rupert Edward Cecil Lee Guinness, 2nd Earl of Iveagh and Lady Gwendolen Florence Mary Onslow, on 29 December 1938.1 He died on 8 March 1983 at age 78.1
