     Lady Patricia Florence Susan Guinness was born on 3 March 1918. She was the daughter of Rupert Edward Cecil Lee Guinness, 2nd Earl of Iveagh and Lady Gwendolen Florence Mary Onslow.1,2 She married Alan Tindal Lennox-Boyd, 1st Viscount Boyd of Merton, son of Alan Walter Lennox-Boyd and Florence Annie Begbie, on 29 December 1938.1 She died on 14 May 2001 at age 83.3
     Her married name became Lennox-Boyd. After her marriage, Lady Patricia Florence Susan Guinness was styled as Viscountess Boyd of Merton on 8 September 1960.

     Alan Tindal Lennox-Boyd, 1st Viscount Boyd of Merton was born on 18 November 1904.1 He was the son of Alan Walter Lennox-Boyd and Florence Annie Begbie.2 He married Lady Patricia Florence Susan Guinness, daughter of Rupert Edward Cecil Lee Guinness, 2nd Earl of Iveagh and Lady Gwendolen Florence Mary Onslow, on 29 December 1938.1 He died on 8 March 1983 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Mid-Bedfordshire between 1931 and 1960.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1940 in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.2 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1941 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1951.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Bedfordshire between 1954 and 1960.2 He was managing director of Arthur Guinness & Sons between 1959 and 1967.2 He was appointed Companion of Honour (C.H.) in 1960.2 He was created 1st Viscount Boyd of Merton, of Merton-in-Penninghame, co. Wigtown [U.K.] on 8 September 1960.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cornwall in 1965.2

     Margaret Mary Lavallin Puxley was the daughter of Reverend Herbert Lavallin Puxley and Dorothy Florence Mary Wroughton.1 She married Sir Hugh Charles Nugent, 6th Bt., son of Charles Hugh Nugent and Anna Maria Adams, on 28 September 1931.1 She died on 8 August 2004.2
     Her married name became Nugent. She lived in 2003 at Cronk Ghennie House, Bowring Road, Ramsey, Isle of Man.1

     Philip Sidney, 2nd Baron De L'Isle and Dudley of Penshurst was born on 28 January 1828.1,3 He was the son of Philip Charles Sidney, 1st Baron De L'Isle and Dudley of Penshurst and Lady Sophia Fitz-Clarence.1 He married, firstly, Mary Foulis, daughter of Sir William Foulis of Ingleby, 8th Bt. and Mary Jane Ross, on 23 April 1850.1 He married, secondly, Emily Frances Ramsay, daughter of William Fermor Ramsay, on 25 January 1893.1 He died on 17 February 1898 at age 70.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Horse Guards.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Shelley Sidney, of Penshurst Place, co. Kent [U.K., 1818] on 4 March 1851.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron De L'Isle and Dudley of Penshurst, co.      Mary Foulis was the daughter of Sir William Foulis of Ingleby, 8th Bt. and Mary Jane Ross.1,2 She married Philip Sidney, 2nd Baron De L'Isle and Dudley of Penshurst, son of Philip Charles Sidney, 1st Baron De L'Isle and Dudley of Penshurst and Lady Sophia Fitz-Clarence, on 23 April 1850.1 She died on 14 June 1891.1

     Sir William Liston Foulis of Woodhall, 8th Bt. was born on 27 July 1812.1 He was the son of Sir James Foulis of Woodhall, 7th Bt. and Agnes Grieve.2 He married, firstly, Henrietta Ramage Liston, daughter of Captain Ramage Liston, on 20 June 1843. He married, secondly, Mary Anne Cadell, daughter of Robert Cadell and Anne Fletcher Mylne, on 7 April 1852.1 He died on 22 February 1858 at age 45.1
     He was given the name of William Foulis at birth.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Foulis, of Colinton [N.S., 1634] on 2 May 1842.1 In 1843 his name was legally changed to William Liston Foulis.1
