Sir Edmund Charles Simeon, 5th Bt. was born on 11 December 1855.2 He was the son of Sir John Simeon, 3rd Bt. and Jane Maria Baker.3 He married Laura Jane Westropp-Dawson, daughter of Walter Mountiford Westropp-Dawson and Laura Felicia Susan Clay, on 26 September 1883.2 He died on 18 June 1915 at age 59.2
