Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Noel Hill was born on 6 January 1881.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Rowland Hill and Elizabeth Ridley.2 He married Josephine McIntyre, daughter of John McIntyre, on 25 September 1934.1 He died on 7 September 1947 at age 66, without issue.1
He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches five times.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He fought in the Waziristan Campaign in 1920, and was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1

Louisa Susan Violet Hill was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles Rowland Hill and Elizabeth Ridley.2 She married, firstly, Hugh Alfred Cholmley, son of Alfred John Cholmley, on 1 August 1912.1 She married, secondly, John Clapham Radcliffe on 4 January 1947.1 She died on 5 January 1969.1
