Sir Carl Douglas Aarvold was born on 7 June 1907 at Hartlepool, County Durham, England.2 He married Noeline Etrenne Hill, daughter of Arthur James Hill and Eleanor Beatrice Hindle Duxbury, on 8 July 1934.1 He died on 17 March 1991 at age 83 at West Humble, Surrey, England.1,2
