     She was with the Auxiliary Territorial Service during the Second World War.¹ From 3 September 1949, her married name became Leeming.

     Her married name became Keighley.¹

     James Leeming was born on 27 April 1952.¹ He is the son of Richard Whiteside Leeming and Iris Mary Tempest.²

     Sir Richard Tempest was the son of Sir John Tempest and Margaret de Holand.² He married, firstly, Joan de Hertford, daughter of Sir Thomas de Hertford, in 1342.¹ He married, secondly, Isabel de Bourne, daughter of Sir Thomas de Bourne, circa 1355. He died before October 1379.¹
     He was appointed Knight before 1349.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Berwick-on-Tweed in 1350.¹ He held the office of Governor of Berwick, Roxburgh and Scarborough Castles between 1351 and 1375.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Roxburghshire and Berwickshire between 1351 and 1375.¹

     Sir Thomas de Hertford lived at Hertford, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Joan de Hertford was the daughter of Sir Thomas de Hertford.² She married Sir Richard Tempest, son of Sir John Tempest and Margaret de Holand, in 1342.¹ She died, without issue.¹
     From 1342, her married name became Tempest.
