Frances Penelope Rawson was the daughter of Thomas Rawson and Frances Penelope Plumbe Tempest.2 She married Henry Edmund Butler, 13th Viscount Mountgarret, son of Hon. Henry Butler and Anne Harrison, on 11 February 1844.1 She died on 19 October 1886.2
From 11 February 1844, her married name became Butler. After her marriage, Frances Penelope Rawson was styled as Viscountess Mountgarret on 16 July 1846.

Henry Edmund Butler, 13th Viscount Mountgarret was born on 24 January 1816.2 He was the son of Hon. Henry Butler and Anne Harrison.2 He married Frances Penelope Rawson, daughter of Thomas Rawson and Frances Penelope Plumbe Tempest, on 11 February 1844.1 He died on 26 August 1900 at age 84.2
He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He succeeded as the 13th Viscount Mountgarret, co. Wexford [I., 1550] on 16 July 1846.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Kilkenny.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Kilkenny.2 In 1891 he inherited £561,300 from his wife's aunt.2

Sir Robert Tempest was the son of Sir Richard Tempest and Gemelyn Grassus.2 He married Alice Lacy, daughter of John Lacy, circa 1407.1 He died between 26 August 1427 and 30 September 1428.1
