     Lt.-Col. Thomas Hazlerigg was born on 1 June 1877.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Thomas Maynard Hazlerigg and Margaret Walker-Drummond.1 He married Edith Violet McCheane, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Henry McCheane, on 17 March 1903.1 He died on 15 March 1935 at age 57.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1

     From 17 March 1903, her married name became Hazlerigg.

     Arthur William Hazlerigg was born on 5 February 1904.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Hazlerigg and Edith Violet McCheane.1 He married, firstly, Marjorie Dorothea Turner, daughter of Colonel George Frederick Brown Turner, on 17 June 1935.1 He and Marjorie Dorothea Turner were divorced in 1946.1 He married, secondly, Jane Wilson, daughter of David Wilson, on 16 June 1947.1 He died on 16 March 1987 at age 83.1
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1947 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1
