     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Somerset.² He lived at Langford Court, Somerset, England^G.²

     Thomas Hay was the son of Sir Charles Hay of Park, 2nd Bt. and Grizel Agnew.¹ He married Mary Maxwell, daughter of Sir William Maxwell of Monreith, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Hay, in 1708.¹ He died in 1733.¹

     Mary Blanche Somers was born in 1847 at Langford, Somerset, England.² She was the daughter of Thomas Somers and Elizabeth Williams.¹ She married Colonel Evan Henry Llewellyn, son of Llewellyn Llewellyn and Eliza William Strick.¹
     Her married name became Llewellyn.¹

     Mary Maxwell was the daughter of Sir William Maxwell of Monreith, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Hay.^1,2 She married Thomas Hay, son of Sir Charles Hay of Park, 2nd Bt. and Grizel Agnew, in 1708.¹ She died on 24 December 1767.²
     From 1708, her married name became Hay.

     Jean Blair was the daughter of John Blair of Dunskey.¹ She married Sir Thomas Hay of Park, 3rd Bt., son of Thomas Hay and Mary Maxwell, on 9 December 1747 at Portpatrick, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.^1,2
     From 9 December 1747, her married name became Hay.^1,2

     Sir Thomas Hay of Park, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1730.¹ He was the son of Thomas Hay and Mary Maxwell.¹ He married Jean Blair, daughter of John Blair of Dunskey, on 9 December 1747 at Portpatrick, Wigtownshire, Scotland^G.^1,2 He died in 1778.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Hay, of Park [N.S., 1663] in 1733.¹ He fought in the Battle of Prestonpans on 21 September 1745, and was wounded defending Colonel Gardiner.¹

     Sir Richard Shuttleworth was born in 1664.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard Shuttleworth and Margaret Tempest.¹ He married Catherine Clerke, daughter of Henry Clerke, in 1682.¹ He died on 27 July 1687.¹
     He was appointed Knight in 1684.¹ He lived at Gawthorpe Hall, Lancashire, England.¹ He lived at Forcett, Yorkshire, England.¹
