     John Walter Stuart Littleton, 6th Baron Hatherton was born on 9 August 1906.¹ He was the son of Edward Charles Rowley Littleton, 4th Baron Hatherton and Hester Edithe Hoskins.² He married, firstly, Nora Evelyn Smith, daughter of R. C. Smith, on 6 November 1932.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Alice Roberts, daughter of John Roberts, in 1955.¹ He died on 27 June 1973 at age 66.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baron Hatherton, of Hatherton, co. Stafford [U.K., 1835] on 13 November 1969.¹

     R. C. Smith lived at Edgbaston, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England^G.¹

     Nora Evelyn Smith was the daughter of R. C. Smith.² She married John Walter Stuart Littleton, 6th Baron Hatherton, son of Edward Charles Rowley Littleton, 4th Baron Hatherton and Hester Edithe Hoskins, on 6 November 1932.¹ She died on 14 March 1955.¹
     From 6 November 1932, her married name became Littleton.
