Sir George Philips, 1st Bt. was born on 24 March 1766.1 He was the son of Thomas Philips.1 He married Sarah Ann Philips, daughter of Nathaniel Philips, on 16 October 1788.1 He died on 3 October 1847 at age 81.1
He was created 1st Baronet Philips. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1

Sir Frederick Hall, 1st Bt. was born on 7 October 1864.1 He was the son of Herbert William Hall.2 He married Annie Ellen Hall, daughter of Henry Hall, on 16 April 1892.1 He died on 28 April 1932 at age 67.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Field Artillery.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Dulwich between 1910 and 1932.1 He raised the 17 Artillery Batteries.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was chairman and managing director of Mercantile Marine Finance Corp.1 He was a director of Robert Gardner Mountain & Company Ltd.1 He was a member of Lloyd's and Baltic Exchange.1 He was created 1st Baronet Hall, of Grafham, Surrey [U.K.] on 5 March 1923.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)1

Cecil Mortimer Hall was born on 8 June 1905.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick Hall, 1st Bt. and Annie Ellen Hall.2 He married, firstly, Emily Margaret Walkden, daughter of Walter Shelley Walkden, on 9 September 1933.1 He and Emily Margaret Walkden were divorced in 1947.1 He married, secondly, Alma Agnes Moore, daughter of William Moore, on 30 July 1947.1 He died, without issue.1
