Claude Thomas Graves was born on 21 September 1850.1 He was the son of Hon. Henry Richard Graves and Henrietta Wellesley.2 He married Georgina Hill, daughter of Captain unknown Hill, in 1876.1 He died in 1898.1

Henry Algernon Claude Graves, 7th Lord Graves, Baron of Gravesend was born on 3 October 1877.1 He was the son of Claude Thomas Graves and Georgina Hill.2 He married Vera Blanche Neville Snepp, daughter of Alfred Neville Snepp, in 1909.1 He and Vera Blanche Neville Snepp were divorced in 1922.1 He died on 6 November 1963 at age 86.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Company of London Yeomanry.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Northumberland Hussars Yeomanry.1 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Graves, Baron of Gravesend, co. Londonerry [I., 1794] on 1 March 1937.1
