Sir Duncan Alexander Grant of Dalvey, 13th Bt. was born on 16 December 1928.2 He was the son of Alexander Lovett Grant and Mary Angela Mackenzie.2 He married Joan Penelope Cope, daughter of Sir Denzil Cope, 14th Bt. and Edna Frances Hilton, on 3 August 1949.2 He died on 25 March 1961 at age 32.2
He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Grant, of Dalvey [N.S., 1688] on 23 January 1937.2 He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Morayshire, ScotlandG.2 He was educated at Newburgh Priory College.2
