Henry Macleod Graham was born on 30 November 1860.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Stuart Frederick Graham and Elizabeth Frances Bannatyne McLeod.2 He married Mary Lucas de St. Jean, daughter of Vicomte de Satgé de St. Jean, on 10 January 1899.1 He died on 11 October 1938 at age 77.1
He gained the rank of Colonel between 1885 and 1887 in the South Wales Borderers, Burma.2 He was Temporary Major-General and Brigadier-General in 1915.1,2
