     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He fought in the Second World War, where he was invalided.² He gained the rank of officer in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Goodenough, of Broadwell and Filkins, co. Oxford [U.K., 1943] on 23 May 1951.¹

     Harry Stuart Parnell McLernon lived at Gisborne, New Zealand^G.¹

     Jane Isobel McLernon is the daughter of Harry Stuart Parnell McLernon.² She married Sir Richard Edmund Goodenough, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Macnamara Goodenough, 1st Bt. and Dorothea Louisa Gibbs, on 22 December 1951.¹
