     Sir Trevor Peter Sherlock Gooch, 5th Bt. was born on 15 June 1915.¹ He was the son of Charles Trevor Gooch and Hester Stratford Sherlock.² He married, firstly, Denys Anne Venables, daughter of Harold Victor Venables, on 4 December 1956.¹ He married, secondly, Jean Wright, daughter of John Joseph Wright, on 20 September 1978.¹ He died on 26 May 2003 at age 87.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant between 1939 and 1946 in the Royal Air Force.¹ He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.R.D.)¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Gooch, of Clewer Park [U.K., 1866] in 1989.¹ He lived in 2003 at Jardin de la Rocque, Mont de la Rocque, St. Aubin, Jersey, Channel Islands^G.¹

     Denys Anne Venables was the daughter of Harold Victor Venables.² She married Sir Trevor Peter Sherlock Gooch, 5th Bt., son of Charles Trevor Gooch and Hester Stratford Sherlock, on 4 December 1956.¹ She died on 23 July 1976.¹
