Sir Edmund Castell Bacon, 13th and 14th Bt. was born on 18 March 1903.2 He was the son of Sir Nicholas Henry Bacon, 12th and 13th Bt. and Constance Alice Leslie-Melville.2 He married Priscilla Dora Ponsonby, daughter of Colonel Sir Charles Edward Ponsonby, 1st Bt. and Hon. Winifred Marian Gibbs, on 15 January 1936.2 He died on 30 September 1982 at age 79.2
