     Andrew Mitchell Gibson was born on 25 June 1784.1 He was the son of William Gibson and Mary Cecilia Balfour.2 He married Barbara Thomson, daughter of Captain Robert Thomson, on 2 December 1818.1 He died on 1 February 1852 at age 67.1
     He was Naval Service in the Honourable East India Company Service.1

     Barbara Thomson was the daughter of Captain Robert Thomson.2 She married Andrew Mitchell Gibson, son of William Gibson and Mary Cecilia Balfour, on 2 December 1818.1 She died on 30 May 1830.1
     From 2 December 1818, her married name became Gibson.
